For nearly six decades, the Texas Legislative Conference (TLC) has been the premier nonpartisan forum for discussing the critical issues shaping Texas's future. Founded in 1967 with its inaugural meeting held in the cafeteria of New Braunfels High School, the conference has grown into a prestigious annual event that brings together policymakers, business leaders, and community advocates to exchange ideas and foster meaningful dialogue.

How it all began
