Dr. Travisha Elise Jones, MD was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She attended The Florida State University (FSU), where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She focused on research in Diabetes and received a Master’s in Clinical Medicine at FSU’s College of Medicine. She then completed her doctorate degree at The FSU College of Medicine. She traveled to Albany, GA where she completed Family Medicine Residency at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She then traveled to Memphis, TN where she completed one year of fellowship in High-Risk Surgical Obstetrics. Dr. Jones currently works at Briggs Family Medicine, where she practices full spectrum medicine including pediatrics, surgical obstetrics, family medicine, adult inpatient medicine, and geriatrics. She spends her free time traveling the world with her husband and toddler son while also enjoying cooking, baking, reading, and watching movies.
