Last month, Texas State Technical College (TSTC) announced plans to expand its offerings in New Braunfels and establish a new campus on SH 46 in Seguin. This expansion is an exciting step forward for our region, addressing workforce challenges and enhancing business growth.

The New Braunfels Chamber is committed to supporting TSTC’s efforts. During the upcoming legislative session, we'll advocate for funding for the existing and new campus, and initiatives that strengthen workforce development across the region.

Our 2025 state legislative priorities also focus on critical infrastructure improvements to maintain and advance our region’s competitiveness and quality of life. Key projects include:

Upgrades to the I-35 and SH 46 interchange and the roadway between New Braunfels and Seguin. This will improve traffic flow, reduce congestion, and enhance safety.
A non-tolled high-speed connector between I-35 and SH 130 to improve regional travel efficiency and ease congestion.
