The 2024 NBgives Awards Program was held on Tuesday, October 22 at The Villa, bringing together local business leaders, community members, and elected officials to celebrate outstanding businesses that have made a profound impact on the community. This year's event recognized 24 honorees, and of these, six were awarded a 2024 NBgives Award.

New Braunfels came alive with vibrant colors, music, and tradition during its Dia de los Muertos Festival on October 18. Hosted downtown, the event was a celebration of Mexican heritage, drawing thousands of attendees to honor loved ones, enjoy cultural performances, and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere.

Early voting for the 2024 General Election in Texas begins today, giving registered voters the opportunity to cast their ballots before the crowds on Election Day November 5. 

Several local businesses will be recognized as 2024 NBgives Honorees this week for making meaningful contributions to the community. This year, 24 outstanding businesses have been named honorees for their efforts in charitable giving, volunteerism, and community engagement, setting a standard for others to follow.

The October Membership Mixer was held at Freiheit Country Store. Over 200 people were in attendance to enjoy mixing and mingling with fellow Chamber members, light appetizers, cold beverages, door prize drawings, and more.

The City of New Braunfels, Comal County and the State of Texas will celebrate Texas Chamber of Commerce Week October 14-18, 2024. This week is a time set aside each October to recognize the hard work and accomplishments of chambers of commerce and the communities they represent. 

The Braunfels Foundation Trust (BFT) is excited to announce the opening of a new Director position, aimed at enhancing the organization’s commitment to supporting the New Braunfels community through its programs and initiatives. This hire will play an important role in the planning and implementation of key programs, including scholarship opportunities, the Baron/Baronesses of the Trust, the prestigious Living Legends Award, and a variety of community events.

The September Membership Mixer was held at The Comal County Fair. Over 400 people were in attendance to enjoy mixing and mingling with fellow Chamber members, light appetizers, cold beverages, door prize drawings, and more.
