The New Braunfels Chamber is proud to announce the launch of NBgives, a new initiative designed to foster corporate philanthropy and celebrate businesses making significant contributions in the community.

NBgives encourages businesses of all sizes to align their actions with their values by contributing to the community through financial donations, product contributions, service offerings, or volunteerism. Businesses are invited to voluntarily join NBgives, pledging to set measurable goals in areas such as charitable giving and volunteer efforts. The initiative’s mission is to recognize and motivate businesses committed to making a positive impact, creating a ripple effect of goodwill throughout the community.

At the heart of NBgives is its annual awards program, which honors businesses that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the community across several categories including the Charitable Champion Award, Employee Engagement Award, Heroic Partners Award, and Economic Impact Award. In preparation for its inaugural event, nominations are being accepted for businesses deserving recognition.

“The Chamber has a long-standing tradition of recognizing individuals who make significant contributions to our community through accolades such as the Besserung Award, Hall of Honor Awards, and Small Businessperson of the Year,” said Barron Casteel, 2024 Chair of the Board for the New Braunfels Chamber. “We are excited to extend this tradition by recognizing the incredible impact of local businesses committed to enhancing our community through NBgives.”

The Chamber invites the community to nominate businesses that are making a difference. Nominations are open now and can be submitted on the Chamber’s website through Friday, July 12. Finalists will be announced in late July and will be invited to the awards program on Tuesday, October 22.
