Braunfels Foundation Trust: Search for New Director to Lead Programs and Initiatives

The Braunfels Foundation Trust (BFT) is excited to announce the opening of a new Director position, aimed at enhancing the organization’s commitment to supporting the New Braunfels community through its programs and initiatives. This hire will play an important role in the planning and implementation of key programs, including scholarship opportunities, the Baron/Baronesses of the Trust, the prestigious Living Legends Award, and a variety of community events.

“The addition of a director signifies our commitment to fostering strong partnerships within the community,” said Teresa Johnson, president of the Braunfels Foundation Trust. “We are looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about community engagement and has the vision to further elevate our programs and initiatives.”

The new Director will also oversee the Chamber’s Leadership New Braunfels (LNB) program, which encompasses Adult LNB, Youth LNB, and the LNB Alumni Association. 

“The Braunfels Foundation Trust and Leadership New Braunfels are a natural fit. The BFT truly is the Chamber’s foundation partner, and this new position is an opportunity to add value to the foundation and our leadership programs,” said Jonathan Packer, president and CEO of the Greater New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce. 

Interested candidates should possess strong leadership skills, experience in nonprofit management, and a demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships within the community.

The Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1974 in New Braunfels, Texas. Following the devastating flood of 1972, the good people of Braunfels, Germany, our city's namesake, presented New Braunfels with a monetary gift of $1,500 to be used as seed money for the development and launch of the Braunfels Foundation Trust.
