Ribbon cuttings are a benefit of your membership! We send out invitations to the Blue Coats, City and County elected officials, and the media. The event is advertised on our calendar of events and in our weekly newsletter.
A member of our Executive Committee, typically the Chair of the Board, will welcome guests and the business will provide a short overview of their company before the cutting of the ribbon.
A photo from the event is shared on the Chamber website and social media, and is featured in the local newspaper.
New members automatically receive the opportunity to host a ribbon cutting ceremony. We find it is best to hold these events on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at either 11:30a.m. or 4:30p.m.
