The Texas Legislative Conference is a nonpartisan organization of Texas business and political leaders who meet annually in New Braunfels to focus on public policy issues. For decades this event has been an inspiration to thousands who have gathered to hear respected individuals offer their insights and to honor those whose impact has changed the face of business and politics in Texas.
The conference is a two-day event that honors individuals whose impact has changed the face of public affairs in Texas, and brings decision makers and subject matter experts to the table to discuss the important issues of the time.
Thursday evening kicks off the conference with a special Texan of the Year Reception celebrating the awardee. The event includes a VIP hour for sponsors, a social hour, heavy hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and the presentation of the Texan of the Year Award.
The Friday conference provides can’t miss opportunities to hear insight from leading elected officials, decision makers, and subject matter experts. The panel topics will be timely, relevant and will focus on important issues that are affecting business, education, and governance in our great state. The panels will be led by experienced moderators who will guide the discussion to insure valuable information is provided.
The conference culminates with a luncheon and keynote address by a prominent officeholder or volunteer leader whose work is directly affecting Texas. Recent keynotes have been delivered by U.S. Senator John Cornyn, Texas State Comptroller Glenn Hegar, First Lady Laura Bush, TEA Commissioner Mike Morath, the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives, the Lieutenant Governor, and the Attorney General.
